In fact, I know you have one. The reason you are here… I know it matters. It’s the stirring in our soul. God calls us to lean into our strengths and our talents.
As a result, I paused this morning as I looked at this stack of books next to my bed.
Last night felt heavy. As I dug deep into my study of Ukraine and topics like stakeholder capitalism… I felt the weight of the world.
A Reminder
But, this morning I’m reminded that God knows the end from the beginning. And I am on His team and I can trust in Him.
He doesn’t call the qualified but instead qualifies the called. That’s what we’re doing… you and I… as we lean into our mission. We aren’t ready, but we are stepping up anyway.
To repeat, As I looked at the books I was reminded. “God is in control, but He doesn’t expect you to lean on a shovel and pray for a hole.”
There is work to be done.
Therefore, if not us, then who?
If not now, then when?

When I was a kid I was obsessed with government and history. I was sure I’d be a high school history teacher. Instead I chose to homeschool my own children. Soon after beginning, I was introduced to the principles of leadership education and the importance of teaching children how to think, instead of simply filling them with what to think. This led me on a journey that changed everything for me. We’ve gone the path less traveled and it has made all the difference.
