The Big Lie

Right vs Left. Jab vs Un. Lib vs Con. Rep vs Dem. You vs Me.
It’s a big LIE.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Imagine for a minute… a world without screens. No media, no FB, no news. Just a bunch of people living their lives. Chatting at church or at restaurants. Waving as you pass on the street. Inviting each other over for dinner and game night. Finding common ground.
Here’s the truth: We both love our family. I love Jesus, you honor the Universe. I love tacos, you love pizza. You garden, I bicycle. I love sitting and talking, you love listening to music and dancing. I read, you bake. You tell jokes, I laugh. When we love, we go all in.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Further more, we both want to help when we see someone in need. When there is a crisis, we step up. When our neighbor is sick, we care for them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Likewise, we want our families to be safe and secure. We want to choose what we do on a Saturday afternoon… read a book, take a nap or go to the game.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Further, we want the opportunity to provide for our families. To enrich our lives.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Big Lie: Your Neighbor Is Your Enemy
We are different. But we are the same.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Therein, your neighbor isn’t your enemy.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s the lie.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Think about it… who is telling you that lie and what do they have to gain?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Therefore the real enemy is not the masses. The enemy here is those who are pitting the masses against each other. The real enemy is those who say over and over again… “your neighbor is your enemy”.⠀

Do. Not. Listen.
Love your neighbor.
Have compassion.
Stand Up
And then stand up against power and propaganda. Stop hurling insults at your neighbors. And Stop being suspicious of your family and friends.
Instead, question who has the most to gain from this big lie?
Big Tech, Big Biz, Big Pharma, Big Gov’t.
Therein is money and power in division. As long as we are distracted hating each other, we cannot stand against them

Hi! I'm Amy Earle
When I was a kid I was obsessed with government and history. I was sure I’d be a high school history teacher. Instead I chose to homeschool my own children. Soon after beginning, I was introduced to the principles of leadership education and the importance of teaching children how to think, instead of simply filling them with what to think. This led me on a journey that changed everything for me. We’ve gone the path less traveled and it has made all the difference.
